Melanie started her makeup journey 4 years ago in 2017. She received a diploma in make-up at the Essex Hair and Make-up academy, and shortly after began dolling up some of your fav reality TV celebs. Her first celebrity client was TOWIE Star Jessica Wright, and since then has become highly recommended to many celebrities including TOWIE stars Courtney Green, Chloe Meadows, Amber Turner and Yazmin Oukhellou. Love Island stars Georgia Harrison and Ellie Jones’ faces have also been painted by Mel, as well as Too Hot to Handle star Chloe Veitch and influencers Tia Linekar, Millie McKenna and Madison Brown.

Melanie has pushed her make-up accreditation to the top and hasn’t stopped at celeb faces. She has also worked with well-known brands such as Pretty Little Thing, Tatti Lashes and Mermaid Swimwear, as well as on Tinie Tempah’s ‘More Life’ Energy Drink shoot and Georgia Harrison’s brand ‘Executive Style’ on shoot for the Eyelash Serum product. Mel was also the designated make-up artist for a shoot with Celebrity Stylist Ellis Ranson’s on her collection with George at Asda, and her skills have seen the sets of TOWIE and MTV’s Famous and Pregnant.

Celebs aside, Melanie also offers weekly glam appointments for clients, including bridal clients. She focuses on soft glam and accentuating gorgeous faces for any occasion, big or small. If you fancy dolling up faces yourself, make-up lessons and training for aspiring artists and/or those who wish to learn how to make up their own face to a high standard are also services that can be provided.

Though her love for make-up is still as strong as ever, Mel felt like there was something missing in her business, and eventually introduced skincare as one of her specialities.

Melanie specialises in skincare journeys and takes pride in offering the best products and services to her clients to help them love the skin they’re in. Complaints including acne, scarring, hyperpigmentation, rosacea, sun damage, eczema, sensitive skin, fine lines and wrinkles and hair loss are all areas in which Mel is confident she can help combat and correct, allowing clients to leave happy and confident, with results they desire and skin they dream of.

Melanie qualified with VTCT Diploma’s 2, 3 & 4 in Beauty Therapy at the Beautec Academy in Loughton. She is also qualified in Level 4 dermaplaning, Level 4 microneedling and Chemical Peels, the Million Dollar Platinum Facial and is also a proud Obagi Medical Skin Specialist and Stockist. She now provides specialist medical-grade skincare and facials to clients at Elizabeth May Studios in Orpington.
